Gartmore Shop responds to the COVID-19 pandemic outbreak
Gartmore Shop has an important role to play to ensure we can continue to provide essential food and services to our community during these unprecedented times.
The shop and post office are open for business and measures are in place to provide services in a safe environment for both staff and customers. We ask you to respect the necessary social distancing and hygiene protocols as directed by staff and notices displayed in the shop.
Our home service delivery will be available to those in the community who need it at no cost and we are grateful to those who have volunteered to do deliveries. Hygiene protocols will be observed.
Should you wish to make an order and arrange delivery to your doorstep, please telephone the shop on 01877 382214. We can agree a convenient delivery time and appropriate payment method when you call.
There may be times when we run short on certain items and shop staff may ask customers occasionally to limit certain purchases to meet the immediate needs of their household. Our shop exists for the benefit of the whole community and we will be managing stock appropriately.
We will keep a close eye on the evolving situation, introducing and communicating any changes should these be required. For example, it may prove necessary to reduce the opening hours of the shop and post office.
In the meantime, keep safe and contact the Shop for help when you need it.
