We can boast about our green credentials too. Our produce is locally sourced, with a short field-to-fork journey and more accountability. We strive for less packaging and our goal is to be plastic-free. We save unnecessary miles and wasted fuel. Residents don’t have to drive miles if they run out of essentials. Plus in bad weather, we are always open even when the roads are not.

• Fresh bread from Bavarian Bakehouse every Friday & Saturday
• Free range eggs from Stonehill Farm
• Fresh fish from Anstruther in Fife, every

Community Services
Community Services
We have a strong social conscience with staff and volunteers watching out for the less able and providing a delivery service to residents helping them continue to live independently.
As a community enterprise, Gartmore Shop is committed to supporting wider local needs, acting as a pick-up point for doctors’ prescriptions, ticket hub for local events, parcels and letters drop off/pick up, noticeboard and meeting point. We provide much needed local jobs too.
If you would like to arrange to pick up a prescription, book tickets or you need help with your shopping, please call us on 01877 328214.
